If not now… then when?

What should we spend our time on? If we don’t answer that question actively, we’ll go the way of our bodily inclinations. We might end up eating something or watch a meaningless TV program. If we don’t illuminate Now via the torchlight of our ‘Life Purpose’ we might just squander the power of the current moment…

just do it

If we already know what’s important to us and we also know that we shouldn’t be resting our mind or body, then the next steps can be clear…

Taking one step fuels the next, there’s magic in movement and in action. Interestingly, a still mind can be useful in helping us be active in other aspects of life. Life is like that. Apparently contradictory, a never-ending maze that satisfies when engaged and an endless adventure-filled odyssey…

How To Heal Relationships

There isn’t a person alive who doesn’t have or hasn’t had challenges with relationships! The truth is that relationships are what life is all about. If everything was to disappear right now, from a spiritual standpoint the only thing that would matter would be people, memories and relationships. How can we heal relationships that are suffering?

2 ways

Here are 2 ideas that do work:

  1. Let’s drop our ego and call the person or persons we most need to talk to. Tell them how much we miss them and how much we’re losing out by not having a normal relationship… This has been known to work for some Smile!
  2. The Spiritual Triangle: Here’s an exercise that works powerfully to heal relationships behind the scenes! Here are the steps… 
    • Use prayer to connect with divinity. Now imagine 3 points of light in the mind’s eye.
    • Point A: Is a bright light in the region of our heart; Point B: Is a luminosity that depicts God or divinity. Point C: Is a bright light that represents the heart of the other person.
    • Make a ‘light’ connection between Point A (us) and Point B (God). Then connect Point B and Point C (the other person). Finally in a triangle connect all 3 points!
    • Imagine the light triangle between the 3 points as vividly as possible. This light is the love that connects everyone. This love heals all…
    • Now pray that this relationship be healed and imagine Point A, B and C merging into one brilliant light!

We’ve heard this before. What we want may not be what we need. The aim of all life is beyond what we see and experience today. The aim of life is spiritual and god-ward. What we need right now is often not known to us. It’s known to a deeper part of self. That center is ever available and can be accessed readily by simply asking. It is Law that when we ask, the Universe must respond.

To manifest we must trust. Trust what? Trust that we’re children of the infinite with creative attributes similar to our parent. We must not second guess or mistrust life. We must feel safe in this playground where we find ourselves. We must play and not care about failure. We must day-dream, i.e. visualize what me most need. And then we must take itty bitty steps towards the goals that are most dear. Success then, is guaranteed. Success even when the goal itself isn’t realized the way we imagined it….

Once we’re at the ‘Alpha Level’ of brain activity, we’re ready to use affirmations effectively. Affirmations are effective at any time though, so let’s not wait to meditate! Affirmations are a way to self-program and achieve more quickly the state which we desire. We may use them as reminders to us in the form of post-it notes and the like…

Here are some examples:

  • Health: I am super healthy now! I breathe in health!
  • Happiness: I radiate happiness, I smile on the inside! I am happy forever!
  • Relationships: I love people and they love me! I am a smile machine!
  • Wealth: I have all that I need, plus more! I float in wealth!

Affirmations are simple, the statement must reflect into the present moment, the state we would like to enjoy or the vision we have of our future self!
