What Are We Thinking About…?

It isn’t what you have or who you are or where you are or what you are doing that makes you happy or unhappy. It is what you think about it.  – Dale Carnegie

thinking

How we think and what we think about what happens to us is paramount. Let’s pay more attention to it and stay happier!

How To Be Perfect Friends!

None of us is perfect, but we can all be perfect friends and perfect partners by allowing those that we love to be imperfect.  – Neale Donald Walsch

perfection!

There is one way we can be perfect, and this is by allowing others to be imperfect! Imperfect they’ll be, more often than not. Will we allow them that?

affirmations

Today I AM letting others make mistakes. We’re all good, God’s children in perfection…

How To Find Peace…

I distinctly remember forgetting it. Clara Barton

clara barton

Clara was once asked if she remembered the wrong that was done to her in the past. She answered as above. Forgiveness is the key to peace of mind and therefore a healthy body. When we hold resentments against people and events in the past, those ‘holdings’ show up as disease in our minds and bodies.

affirmations

Today I AM leaving all resentments behind and reminding myself to forgive and forget! It feels like a weight has lifted, I AM healed!!

How To Live With No Regrets!

Happiness is a choice that I can make no matter how grim circumstances might seem. The joy of being alive is always attainable... Patti Pansa

patti pansa

“… with Stage 4 metastasized breast cancer, Patti didn’t want to wish. She wanted to know how to live life with no regrets. Out of Patti’s vision and sense of urgency, the No Regrets Project was born. Between radiation treatments, spinal surgery and a bucket list trip to Alaska, Patti wrote essays, talked with anyone who would listen, dreamed and created. In the end, she developed five simple, personal practices to help herself live life more fully: be grateful every day, trust – take the risk, courage to be me, choose joy, and love myself & share it. While the phrases may be simple, accomplishing them is not. The development of the No Regrets Project is Patti Pansa’s legacy to all of us.”

affirmations

Today I AM leaving no regrets on the table! I AM grateful. I AM trusting and take risks. I AM courageously me. I AM choosing joy. I love myself and share this love. I AM living fully!

Why Love Is Hard Work!

Love doesn’t just sit there, like a stone, it has to be made, like bread; remade all the time, made new. Ursula K. Le Guin

hard work!

Maintaining relationships built on love is very hard work. If we want our family to stay together then we must work on that relationship diligently and daily. If we want to maintain faith in God and not suffer from fear and isolation, then we must maintain our prayer relationship with God on a daily basis. All love requires work and we must remember that!

affirmations

Today I AM willing to work to experience love in my relationships. I refuse to take any relationship for granted. I AM ready and loving!
