Why Now?

Happiness is a present attitude–not a future condition.Hugh Prather

now or never!

It’s all here and it’s all now.

3 words, Happiness, Present and Attitude. These 3 words sum it all up! Happiness is what we all want, what we all seek. Happiness is being content and joyful with what we are and what we have now, today. Present is the only time that exists. We can only experience happiness in the present moment. Attitude, the right kind is what we need to handle any situation in life and to stay happy! Combine the 3 together and we have the making of a fulfilling life!

affirmations

Today I AM happy. I AM happy because all is well and I AM alive! There’s a lot to be grateful for and I focus on all that today! Life is good and has never been better!

What Do We Look For?

What we see depends mainly on what we look for.Sir John Lubbock

see

Do we ever pause to think, where our thoughts come from; how did a particular thought arise or what caused it? Once a thought arises what events (past or present), tendencies, biases and inclinations color this thought? Our entire life experience is run by the thoughts we manufacture about what’s going on, these thoughts in turn are colored by our personality and life events. Let’s become aware of what we think and hence what we see.

affirmations

I AM cognizant of my thoughts today. I know where they come from and what quality I impart to them. I AM the master of my thoughts, and so it shall be!

Why We Are Blessed!

Count your blessings. Once you realize how valuable you are and how much you have going for you, the smiles will return, the sun will break out, the music will play, and you will finally be able to move forward the life that God intended for you with grace, strength, courage, and confidence.Og Mandino

blessed

Trouble hits us often. If it doesn’t we’re adept at creating some. We forever compare self to others and easily find ways to not be happy. What would happen if we spent more time dwelling on the positive, the true, the good and the beautiful? How would our lives change?

affirmations

I AM blessed. I was always blessed. I AM in a great place and God is with me. All is well!

Where’s The Fruit?

Don’t be afraid to go out on a limb. That’s where the fruit is.  – . Jackson Browne

stretch!

If we don’t stretch ourselves, who will? How will we grow? We can go out on a limb when we challenge our personal concepts. How do we view us? Confident, liked, loved, capable and nice or the quite the opposite? Where and when do we short-sell us? If we’re willing to look deeper into our self, gaining self-knowledge, understanding why we act or react the way we do, then that awareness, not a self-judgment, leads to direct contact with our inner, confident and capable self. Then we become naturally capable of going out on a limb and taking a risk, growing and grabbing a handful of that desirable fruit!

affirmations

Today I AM courage personified! I know I can and I will! I AM confident, liked, loved and fully capable!

We’re On The Journey!

The question is not, why start off on such a path? You have already started off. You did so with the first beat of your heart. The question is: Do I wish to walk this path consciously, or unconsciously? Neale Donald Walsch

it’s on!

We’re on the spiritual path whether we know it or not! So how can we make the most of it? How can a more conscious spiritual life contribute to our happiness or life effectiveness?

  • * What’s missing in our life?
  • * What would we truly love to have more of?
  • * Where is our life leading, ultimately?
  • * When will we spend time ruminating about these things?

affirmations
