Why Be Positive?

The positive thinker sees the invisible, feels the intangible, and achieves the impossible.  – Unknown Author

the invisible world

There’s an invisible world, one which we often ignore. That part of the Universe and its laws have a direct impact on our daily living. When we raise our vibrations by thinking good, thinking love and thinking positive, we partake of and create positive vibrations. These vibrations impact us, our future and those around us. Good health, great relationships, a happy present moment and a great future is the result!

discover you

When we feel resentment, fear, sorrow and experience worry we are generating and picking up vibrations of a whole different frequency. These lower frequencies impact us directly and first. And that is the reason to not let these lower vibrations stick around self too long! Why live with a neighbor that causes nothing but unhappiness? We think we’re justified complaining about who did wrong to us and why. We might be justified but let’s not feel sorry for self. Let’s break free instead, turn the tide, adopt vibrations of the positive kind!

What It Takes To Be Sane…

They are sane who never feel persecuted, never feel left out and never feel hurt by anyone or anything.  – Vernon Howard

sanity?

To be sane takes a sane mind. A sane mind is peaceful and remains unaffected by others and circumstances. A sane mind is not serious. It’s playful. It loves to have fun. It’s also curious. It doesn’t get bored.

take it easy!

When we take our selves too seriously we will be hurt. When we put too much attention on us we think life is all about us. It’s little wonder that we get hurt. When we feel important we’re bound to feel left out. Instead let’s stop defending ourselves, let’s stop being aggressive in getting back at others. Let’s breathe deeply and take it easy. We’re good as is. Let the rest of the world fight imaginary emotional battles.

Why It’s All Good…

A good fortune may forebode a bad luck, which may in turn disguise a good fortune.Chinese Proverb

good fortune

We seek good fortune. We want our life to be happy and generally uneventful. Turns out our life is not just a bed of roses. To what end is all this playing out? What’s the meaning behind everything? The very question (on meaning) is a clue for us…

all is well

There’s a grand and divine plan. We see the tiniest pieces of it and nary have a clue about what’s going on. If we believe in divinity then it’s in our best interest to keep the faith and know that not only will it all work out but all is well, now.

Why We Must Let The Past Be…

The past is a foreign country; they do things differently there.Leslie P. Hartley

the past

The only true consciousness of time that we have is of the present moment. Just like the previous moment, the past doesn’t exist, it’s gone. When the future arrives, which it does every moment, it is our present. For creativity to flourish we must be worry-free and operate in the Eternal Now.

Why Beliefs Are Important To Watch!

When your beliefs match your desires then your desires must become reality.  – Abraham

match

Most of us are not quite sure if the Law of Attraction works or if it works 100% of the time. The stuff of the Universe comes from thought and we are the wards of the Eternal. Our thoughts have immense power. What we see happening around us, the good and the bad, is directly or indirectly caused collectively by us. Whether we can consciously use the Law of Attraction to our ‘advantage’ really depends on what deep assumptions and beliefs we hold. If we want great relationships but deep down don’t think we’re worthy enough to have them, then such relationships won’t be showing up for us.

creative responsibility

We have a great responsibility on our shoulders. If we don’t want more of what the world is experiencing right now then we must choose our thoughts with care. We ought to target our desires to match with those of the Universe. This ensures that our entire world moves forward in way that benefits everyone and not just some of us. This also ensures that we live a more fulfilling life i.e. our ‘Life Purpose’!

“Praise Is Like Sunlight”

Praise is like sunlight to the warm human spirit; we cannot flower and grow without it. Jess Lair

praise!

It’s so easy to criticize and to gossip. Why can’t we find it easier to stay positive? What is it about critiquing and gossiping that always get’s the better of us? Can we take the high road instead? Yes we can!

life principles

27th Dale Carnegie Principle: Praise the slightest improvement and praise every improvement .

Here’s a story from the book:

"We decided to try praise instead of harping on their faults. It wasn’t easy when all we could see were the negative things they were doing; it was really tough to find things to praise. We managed to find something, and within the first day or two some of the really upsetting things they were doing quit happening. Then some of their other faults began to disappear. They began capitalizing on the praise we were giving them. They even began going out of their way to do things right. Neither of us could believe it. Of course, it didn’t last forever, but the norm reached after things leveled off was so much better. It was no longer necessary to react the way we used to. The children were doing far more right things than wrong ones." All of this was a result of praising the slightest improvement in the children rather than condemning everything they did wrong.

Daily Affirmation: Today I praise the slightest improvement!
