What Pure Love Leads To…

9.22 … to those who adore me with a pure oneness of soul, to those who are ever in harmony, I increase what they have and I give them what they have not. The Bhagavad Gita (Chapter 9)

through love

Because love is the stuff that the Universe is made of, love is also the means and the end for anything and everything. That’s all we need to remind ourselves of; from love, to love, for love… That is the way to approach divinity and everyone around us…

everything else is added

When we love God and his creation then nothing but eventual goodness comes our way. In love we work with the very fabric of creation, love then guides us and provides for us all that we can ever need, especially from a spiritual standpoint. Which is why we can never go wrong if we simply focus on love.

Daily Affirmation: Today I AM Love to one and all.

Who’s The Master of the Universe?

9.17 I am the Father of this universe, and even the Source of the Father. I am the Mother of this universe, and the Creator of all. I am the Highest to be known…

9.18 I am the Way, and the Master who watches in silence; thy friend and thy shelter and thy abode of peace. I am the beginning and the middle and the end of all things...The Bhagavad Gita (Chapter 9)

the first source

God is ever watchful of what goes on in his eternal creation. He created it all and yet sits apart while being intimately involved in his handiwork. He’s The First Source and Center of all that is. He’s closer to us than our very breath. He’s ever accessible.

the personal one

As the holy book says: Won’t he who created the ear not be able to hear? Won’t he who made the eyes not be able to see? Won’t he who crafted the mouth not be able to speak? He the mighty creator of all beings is at the highest level a most loving, personal and knowable parent.

Daily Affirmation: Today I contemplate the First Source and Center.

How The Truth Can Set Us Free!

9.6 Even as the mighty winds rest in the vastness of the ethereal space, all beings have their rest in me. Know thou this truth.

9.13 But there are some great souls who know me: their refuge is my own divine nature. They love me with a oneness of love: they know that I am the source of all.The Bhagavad Gita (Chapter 9)

the truth

As is often said, ‘we move and have our being’ in God. It is a Truth that can set us free. We play in God’s lap, we’re ultimately safe, nothing of eternal import can harm us. We ought to be worry free. We ought be full of joy and celebrate!!

through love

When we can daily experience God’s partnership in life, when we feel his love and can be conduits for it, when we serve others in love without seeking reward, then we know God and know that he is Source.

Daily Affirmation: Today I serve and trust the Source.

The Goal Of Ages…

8.7 Think of me therefore at all times; remember thou me and fight. And with mind and reason on me, thou shalt in truth come to me.

8.14 Those who in the devotion of Yoga rest all their soul ever on me, very soon come unto me..The Bhagavad Gita (Chapter 8)

think of me

We move and have our being in God, everything is God. Another way of stating this is that God is Truth, God is the essence, God is the goal… In this verse ‘God’ exhorts the human to set his mind on the eternal goal, fight the inner fight and achieve the goal of the ages…

the spiritual dimension

Beyond what we see, underneath it all, there’s a whole lot more. When we can still our mind, achieve a certain equanimity, allow our brain to function at lower frequencies than beta, then we can and do have access to what’s beyond. Here we’re connected to a global, non-local consciousness. This is the path to higher guidance from universal intelligence…

Daily Affirmation: Today I seek God by becoming still.

Why God is God…

7.6 All things have their life in this Life, and I am their beginning and end.

7.7 In this whole vast universe there is nothing higher than I. All the worlds have their rest in me, as many pearls upon a string.

7.8 I am the taste of living waters and the light of the sun and the moon. I am OM, the sacred word of the Vedas, sound in silence, heroism in men.The Bhagavad Gita (Chapter 7)

origin

We live in time and space. Time appears to move in one direction, forward and space appears to be expanding at all times. That’s highly suggestive of all things having originated at a time far distant in the past. Origins beg a cause. That ‘first cause’ can be termed God. According to The Gita, all Western Religions and many other belief systems, God is the ultimate person. He knows and he sees, just like we can. He created it, and us all, for a grand purpose…we can relate with her directly and one-on-one!

the highest

The highest ideals and the highest qualities are reflective of the creator. All creation marches towards perfection by accentuating and experiencing these ideals and qualities. That then is also a purpose of it all. God is alive and well, rejoice, fear not and ‘be exceedingly glad’.

Daily Affirmation: Today I AM happy and safe because God IS!

When There’s Nothing Else to Know…

7.1 Hear now, Arjuna, how thou shalt have the full vision of me, if thy heart is set on me and if, striving for Yoga, I am thy refuge supreme.

7.2 And I will speak to thee of that wisdom and vision which, when known, there is nothing else for thee to know. The Bhagavad Gita (Chapter 7)

for the asking

The goal of the ages is obtainable just for the asking. This book reveals that when the pupil is ready the teacher appears; when we ask we’re given. That’s especially true if we seek the ‘kingdom of God’ within because then everything else that’s spiritually necessary to achieve this ultimate goal is added onto our lives.

the greatest knowledge

The greatest knowledge is that which:

  • Allows us to live happy and fulfilling lives today
  • Helps us understand reality and our place in it
  • Clarifies for us where we’re headed

According to this ‘bible’ of the Hindus, when we seek ‘Yoga’ (union) with ultimate reality (God) then we start a chain of events that ultimately leads us to the very doorstep of All That Is.

Daily Affirmation: Today I seek God.

What Silence Leads To…

6.30 And when he sees me in all and he sees all in me, then I never leave him and he never leaves me.

6.31 He who in this oneness of love, loves me in whatever he sees, wherever this man may live, in truth this man lives in me. The Bhagavad Gita (Chapter 6)

god realization

Meditation, silence and a life of love-soaked service leads to an ever increasing realization of God. This ‘realization’ consists of seeing God in everything and everything in God according to this holy book of the Hindus.

love…

What emerges from this ‘vision’ of life is that love abounds and is the underpinning of reality itself. Love of God and by extension love for others reveals how we’re all connected at the deepest level. We are all brothers out on an eternal adventure that keeps unfolding…

Daily Affirmation: Today I AM one with all, in love.
