We must learn to reawaken and keep ourselves awake, not by mechanical aid, but by an infinite expectation of the dawn. – Henry David Thoreau
slumbering
We slumber, and do so collectively. We have mechanical thoughts, robotic likes and dislikes, we’ve mostly made up our minds and are barely aware of the present moment. We move about in a hypnotic daze.
awake!
We must awaken. Awaken to the richness of the current moment. To the opportunities that show up if we only pay attention. To possibilities that lie dormant unless we open up to them. We must recognize that we’re sleeping before we can awaken!
