Seek not to change the world, but choose to change your mind about the world. What you see reflects your thinking. And your thinking but reflects your choice of what you want to see. – A Course In Miracles
change perception
Gandhi said ‘we must be the change we want to see in the world’, such change begins in how we perceive the world, others and ourselves. When we explore our perceptions, beliefs, assumptions, thought-patterns and expectations we approach greater self-knowledge. That exercise can feed the change we want to see.
meaning
When we perceive external situations they’re colored by the special tint on our experience and DNA infused glasses. We see accordingly, we expect and believe accordingly. As we choose to see what we see, our thinking further underscores that choice. In other words our thinking, our perception and choices reinforce each other. We live in a world of our own creation. Is there meaning in the world and our relationships beyond what we imprint on them?
Daily Affirmation: Today I become aware of my thinking.
