A Time To Fly…

Time is swift, it races by; Opportunities are born and die… Still you wait and will not try – A bird with wings who dares not rise and fly.  – A A Milne

time

When we breathe we use time. Time slips through our fingers like water but is also ever-present like air. We get older everyday but the present moment never fades. What’s our relationship with time?

fly

What does success means to us? We must know what it is to fly. We are birds. We should fly to soaring heights. What exhilaration and sights will we experience today?

Daily Affirmation: Today I AM flying!!

The Art Of Allowing…

If you cannot be a poet, be the poem.David Carradine

creativity

Actually anyone can be a poet. Or an artist. It starts with first accepting that we are artists already and that it’s not the domain of a gifted few. Once we’re convinced of that then art will flow through us. Our artistic capability is directly proportional to our allowing ‘Source’ to flow through us…

the art of allowing

By allowing the art of the great Artist to flow through us we become his poem. That is the sole purpose of life.

Why We Must Imagine Big!

Imagine the universe beautiful and just and perfect. Then be sure of one thing: The Is has imagined it quite a bit better than you have. The original sin is to limit the Is. Don’t.  – Richard Bach

a living god

When we limit others and ourselves we commit the ‘original sin’. How? An example is when we think we know ‘Truth’ and that it’s our job to ‘enlighten’ others with our knowledge. Sometimes we forget that the ‘Is’, God, reveals itself and expresses itself through everyone and through all that we see and experience. This happened not just in the past (via messengers and holy texts) but also continues to happen today, now! Why? Because God is a living god and his expression through his creation is never ending…..

imagine

The antidote to the original sin is to open our minds, imagine great things and allow others to do the same. Let’s not limit others (and us) by pre-conceived notions and small thinking. Our future and the world’s salvation depends on it!

The Easiest Way To Peace…

It’s never about them…Namaste Now!

them

It’s super easy to blame others and external circumstances. ‘He shouldn’t have said that.’, ‘Why did she do that?’, ‘Life isn’t fair.’, ‘Why do CEOs make so much money?’ and so on. We are masters at the blame game.

us

Life is perceived and created all within our own minds. Even if someone or something is to blame, how we think about these things and what they mean to us is what truly matters. If we can understand that it’s always about how we think about life, then we can handle anything Life throws into our laps…

Why Self-Knowledge Is Key…

Who but you knows your inner state, so who but you can change it?  – Vernon Howard

what we are

Only we can be our own masters. To be so, we must know self. Knowing self means we understand our proclivities, our insecurities and fears, our longings, our self-deception plus more! It’s a journey that must be undertaken…

awareness

Life calls us to be our own masters by throwing challenges at us. Each life situation has multiple lessons built into it. We’re on this planet to grow as children of God. Life isn’t conspiring against us; it’s providing a perfect school for our growth so that we can be masters of self!

Why The Future Sucks!

The present moment is a living rainbow.Guy Finley

the future

The future sucks because it never delivers on its promises. It suckers us into believing that something most amazing will eventually happen and that it will be the thing we’ve always wanted. Inevitably we’re left wanting and desperate at the very doorsteps of this tyrant we call the future…

the present moment

Now, on the other hand, is beautiful. The most precious gifts are bestowed to us in the present moment. But we scarcely pay attention. This time that’s upon us is beautiful beyond comparison. It really is like the rainbow in all its colorful splendor rising from one end of infinity and descending into the other. Let’s pay more attention to it.

What’s The TGIF Syndrome?

Why wait for the weekend to have fun? Loesje

the tgif syndrome!

We all suffer from it. We wait for the weekend to enjoy our lives. It’s much like the next think we want to buy or the next relationship we think will make us happy. We wait for the weekend and often dread going back to ‘work’! What is it about work that makes it so drab? Or is it us?

today

About half of our waking hours during any week are at work. Which means half of our lives is spent on our jobs. If our job isn’t fun, then we’re wasting half of our life! There has to be a way to find the perfect job (hard not impossible) or figure out a way to enjoy and enhance our current livelihood! How can we remedy this appalling situation? When will we begin?
