An infinite capacity…

I am looking for a lot of men who have an infinite capacity to not know what can’t be done.Henry Ford

Henry Ford knew that he wanted folks with enthusiasm and passion, folks with the spirit that would push beyond obstacles considered impossible with prior knowledge!

What we know sometimes works against us. Humanity has an often hidden indomitable spirit which cannot spring into action if we’re not psychologically ready.

To achieve the difficult and even the impossible, our frame of mind must be one of extreme positivity and selective ignorance.

After all we create our own future!

You are the masterpiece!

When love and skill work together, expect a masterpiece.John Ruskin

You know what they say, do what you love and the money follows? Well so does a masterpiece! But did you ever think of your self as a masterpiece?

How would you build your life, your skills, your habits, demeanor and legacy?

With love and skill of course!

Love yourself and be patient. Understand what keeps you going, what you like and dislike, habits you want to improve and relationships you want to mend. Skill must be present too. You must know yourself, how to change habits, how to become calmer, more loving etc.

To create a masterpiece that everyone loves, you must view yourself as one and work at it!

Flow with the river…

Vex not they spirit at the course of things; they heed not they vexation. How ludicrous and outlandish is astonishment at anything that may happen in life.Marcus Aurelius

We should have ambitions and make plans. Then leave the result to Nature/God. It pays not to worry or hassle over things that we don’t control. In fact by worrying we lessen our own preparedness to tackle life and the challenges it throws at us.

Flow with this river called time, let things take their course, maintain your own peace, do all you can, and let go… Enjoy the journey!

You own your life…

Don’t go around saying the world owes you a living; the world owes you nothing; it was here first.Mark Twain

How many times can you catch yourself blaming another or even getting angry at someone because of what you think they did to you. You know in your heart that it’s really you and not them. If you believe that your thoughts create your reality then it’s obvious that what you’re experiencing now is likely the result of all your previous thought streams. Or if you believe in God then you might also believe that God or her angels arrange certain difficulties for you, just so that you can grow or experience life in a certain way. No matter what you believe taking the onus on yourself can be very liberating, you are suddenly in charge of your life!

What will you create?

You are responsible to yourself and for yourself. You may give others the credit but not the blame. If you follow this recipe you ensure yourself a unified, mature and satisfied personality. Ask yourself not what someone (or the country) can do for you, ask instead what you can do for them or the situation!

Recommendation: The Law of Attraction

Afraid to look bad?

Show me a guy who’s afraid to look bad and I’ll show you a guy you can beat every time.Rene Auberjonois

When we’re not sure of ourselves, we don’t act with that confidence that’s necessary to be effective as human beings. That lack of confidence is mostly due to a lack of self-esteem or worthiness.

Why are you worthy?

That’s the question to ask yourself. Instead we repeat negative affirmations to ourselves that ensure our lack of self-esteem. We must catch ourselves doing that and instead use positive affirmations like the following:

  • There is only one Presence and one Power in the Universe, God the Good, Omnipotent. This Power expresses Life, Love, Wisdom and Abundance through me. In it, I live and move and have my being.
  • I experience the peace of God as I relax into the quiet calm within my soul.
  • The light of God surrounds us; the love of God enfolds us; the power of God protects us; the presence of God watches over us; wherever we are, God is.
  • Divine love, flowing through me, blesses and multiplies all that I have, all that I give, and all that I receive.

When will you be free?

Where the mind is without fear and the head is held high;
Where knowledge is free;
Where the world has not been broken up into fragments by domestic walls;
Where words come out from the depth of truth;
Where tireless striving stretches its arms towards perfection;
Where the clear stream of reason has not lost its way into the dreary desert sand of dead habit;
Where the mind is led forward by thee into ever-widening thought and action–
Into that heaven of freedom, my father, let my country awake.
Rabindranath Tagore

The United States celebrate July 4th as Independence Day!

Personal freedom reigns when you are: Fearless, unaffected by what others think, feel loved, love others, joyous, peaceful, purpose-driven, service-driven, of excellent mind, body and spirit!

The planet deeply desires such individuals to come forth and fertilize the global consciousness that will someday lead to peace and happiness for one and all!

When do you or will you celebrate your Independence Day? When will you answer the call?

Your destiny!

Destiny is not a matter of chance;

it is a matter of choice.

It is not a thing to be waited for;

it is a thing to be achieved.William Jennings Bryan

It’s your life and it’s your destiny that you control; by your thoughts, determinations, agreements, affirmations, assumptions, desires, habits and goals!

Let’s talk about agreements today, what are they? They are larger assumptions that you live by. An example might be: ‘My parents divorced when I was a kid, no one really loves me, not even God’. Another one could be: ‘I’ve failed in many of my major endeavors in life, I can’t make a success out of anything’.

Such basic but major assumptions define, to a very large extent, what you will experience in life. We do learn a lot from adversity so are we trying to create a perfect life? God does want us to be happy but s/he also wants us to grow as humans into reliable and mature beings. So in my opinion the focus on the ‘Law of Attraction’ to create an ideal life is a little misplaced. A truly fulfilling life can only be obtained when our life is in lock-step with the Universal Mind, God’s Will. Living with God as our partner is to actually fulfill our destiny.

Ponder that.
