How Can We Be More Real?

Do you think crying is a sign of weakness?Questions…

cry?

Why do so many of us hesitate to cry? Why can’t we fully express ourselves? What are we afraid of? What’ll happen if others see us as we truly are? What’s the worst-case scenario when we are real with others and self?

transparency

There’s real value in expressing who we truly are. When we do that we find self. What we don’t like about self will emerge. What we love will also emerge. We may not be the best judge of what’s good or not so good within us. If we don’t express fully, the best of us will stay submerged inside us just like the worst. Let it all come out. We can be adults, we will deal with it! We will change what’s necessary…

Why We Must Reach For Big Goals!

Little minds have little worries, big minds have no time for worries.Ralph Waldo Emerson

worry

There’s no one amongst us who doesn’t lose precious time and energy worrying about life. We worry because we fear life, a next step or what can go wrong. We’re like a diver worrying all the way to the top of the diving board. How well can we possibly perform?

big goals

We’re less likely to worry if we focus on things larger than self and larger than life. Once we learn more about self and know what really get’s us going, what we are truly passionate about and what we care deeply for, then the path becomes clearer! When the destination is clear, all we need to do is place our sights on it and continue moving forward one step at a time. Our focus on the goal keeps us from worrying!

How To Make A Great First Impression!

A man without a smiling face must not open a shop.Chinese Sayings

no go!

We shouldn’t set foot outside our house if we’re not smiling! We shouldn’t be talking to another soul if we’re not smiling! Heck we shouldn’t be thinking about anything if we’re not able to smile within! How can we be motivated to do anything if we’re not happy and smiling?

5th Dale Carnegie Principle: Smile!

From the book How To Win Friends And Influence People:

The Value of a smile at Christmas

It cost nothing, but creates much.
It enriches those who receive, without impoverishing those who give.
It happens in a flash and the memory of it sometimes lasts forever.
None are so rich they can get along without it, and none so poor but are richer for its benefits.
It creates happiness in the home, fosters good will in a business, and is the countersign of friends.
It is rest to the weary, daylight to the discouraged, sunshine to the sad, and nature’s best antidote for trouble
Yet it cannot be bought, begged, borrowed, or stolen for it is something that is no earthly good to anybody till it is given away.
And if in the last minute rush of Christmas buying some of our salespeople should be too tired to give you a smile, may we ask you to leave one of yours?
For nobody needs a smile so much as those who have none left to give!!

What Are We Doing About Love?

Who do you love? What are you doing about it?Questions

who do we love?

Let’s be very clear about this. Who do we love? Why? To what end? Why is this love important? When we love them what do we feel? What do we want to feel? To what extent have we expressed this love?

expression

Expression equals creation. Until we express something into reality, all we have are thoughts and emotions. It takes thoughts to kick off a creation, but express we must to complete the cycle! Let’s put into expression, in 2012, our love for all who are important in our lives. Can we pledge to that?

  • On this planet?
  • Here??

Questions, the right questions lead us to the next step. When we ask questions God answers! Try it!
