Go within…

If you aren’t used to going within, you will need to be patient with yourself…Barbara De Angelis

Patience will be necessary because you will lack self-knowledge. In other words you won’t understand too well why you act the way you do in various situations. Your buttons will be easy to push, you will be in less control of your fulfillment and happiness. You will be more a re-actor rather than an actor on the stage of life.

When you go within, you enquire about the nature of your mind and your actions, which leads to clarity around your life goals. Going within can also yield you the peace and quiet that you seek. That citadel of comfort can only be found within.

Don’t neglect it.

A child of God…

Difficulties may challenge mediocrity and defeat the fearful, but they only stimulate the true children of the Most Highs. The Urantia Papers, (48:7.7)

You are a child of God, a product of the Universal Mind. God would not have created us without a grand purpose.

If we remind ourselves of this essential truth often, we will be unafraid to face life, its challenges and be motivated to take anything on! This is the secret that will pull us out of the doldrums and activate us for the destiny that we are designed to undertake.

Be silly…

If people never did silly things nothing intelligent would ever get done.Ludwig Wittgenstein

Being silly is all about being playful. Play leads to creativity. Creativity occurs more readily in the fertile soil that silliness and play create!

It appears that God him/herself created it all in an amazing never ending playful burst. Which is reason enough for us to do the same thing. Reason enough to never worry about life, but instead to spend the eternal Now moment in love, play and endless fun!

How silly are you?

Unlock the path…

Commitment unlocks the doors of imagination, allows vision, and gives us the "right stuff" to turn our dreams into reality.James Womack

Commitment is the key to getting the self moving.

Commitment to what though? Are you careful about what you commit to? If not you’ll be spinning wheels that don’t need spinning. You’ll be detracting from your ‘Life Purpose’ or that which you were designed to do and be. Which means that any activity not aligned with your Life Purpose will be an energy drain at the very least or worse, one that takes you away from a fulfilling/happy life.

How will you discover your Life Purpose?

Our human journey…

We are not human beings on a spiritual journey. We are spiritual beings on a human journey.Stephen Covey

Our quest, then, ought to be, to discover this spiritual life that we all have but often neglect. There’s a force inside us, a living, that desires to be uncovered and latched on to. Once we discover it and ride on its coattails, we can be like the carefree birds, that live daily and then die, but never ever worry about life.

We go on, forever that is. Let’s discover what this grand drama is all about, find our part, play it, to our best ability, live life as its meant to be lived!

Direct your thoughts…

Always  direct your thoughts to those truths that will give you confidence, hope, joy, love, thanksgiving, and turn away your mind from those that inspire you with fear, sadness, depression.Bertrand Wilbertforce

You are thine own master. Your whole life flows from your thoughts and what you do with those thoughts. Remember your primary role in your own life and its execution.

It all starts with your thoughts.

Know whence they originate; under what circumstances; what you do with them; how they might control you; become conscious of your thoughts and enable control over how each day and the rest of your life turns out!
