Watch it when you espouse any belief about your self, your religion, others or about life itself. Belief is limiting because it ties you down. Whatever understanding you have about your capabilities, holds true.

Instead of accumulating beliefs, try the expansive nature of faith instead. Have faith in yourself, in others and in God/Universe.

Know that you can do and be more than you are right now. Don’t limit your growth. Allow the same in others, let them be what they can be, don’t stifle them.

The root of all happiness lies in our being comfortable in our own skin. That comfort comes from a deep acceptance of ourselves. We’re more fully able to accept ourselves when we’re good.

Goodness means being truthful to ourselves and to all others. Goodness means taking care of ourselves and all those we encounter daily. Goodness means being loving to our own-selves plus all others.

When we thus become comfortable with us at a deep level, we can feel real good, we can truly be good. Goodness then emerges from our very being, others notice it.

The trick is to recognize that power, realize that it runs through us and everyone else. Consciously accept it and allow it a free run in our life. Application of faith might be necessary initially.

We live fearful lives. We’re fearful of our health, material well being and of our very existence. For that reason we seek safety and guarantees, a quest on which we spend our entire lives. It’s a goal that can never be reached.

Safety and peace can only be found in accepting our lot. Accepting that certain things are just they way they are. Accepting that at the core we’re spiritual beings, beings that will never die. Accepting that nothing happens by accident, all that happens leads to a goal undecipherable, knowing that we’re all ultimately safe in this grand drama that plays all around us.

As we experience life and build our meaning and values, God finds that extremely powerful and valuable. He needs us as much as we need him. It takes two to tango and without us and our experience of living, relating and finding deep meaning, his whole creation would be for naught.
