We are the Light of the world. Let’s not be small and shirk from this realization. We are given the Light, we are the light. So how do we pass on the baton? By ‘seeing’ and acknowledging the Light in the ‘other’. Simple. Let’s do it.
We’re convinced that we’re on our own. And that’s a colossal but rectifiable error. We’re not alone. We but need to grasp this truth, in faith. Then the way that’s already open, lights up for us. Trust the One.
What is true freedom? In my opinion it is the expression of who we truly are without objection or hindrance from any ‘outside’ force. If we can be ourselves under any circumstances then we are free. Such freedom can only be found in a tryst with Reality. And such Reality is what God is. We can only be free when in consort with God.
We seek until we’re sick and tired. No matter what we seek and attain, it’s never satisfyingly enough. Why is that? Nothing of this world can ever fulfill us to the core. Only Truth, Reality has the ability to truly satisfy us. That which changes, is not Truth/Reality. Ironically, our very essence, our beingness, is what we forever seem to seek ‘out’ there. That, never changes, is what we are, and what we actually seek.
We do have a special vocation for which we were designed. And it’s not necessarily a specific profession or business. Our true calling always has to do with furthering God’s business in Life. And God’s business is wholly directed to awakening us, and others through us. And that’s our ‘special place to fill’, one which only we can do, and in our own special way.
Everything else, the ‘past’, ‘future’ even our concept of the present, is a figment of our imagination. Be here, now.
Father, being your children, we give you our faith without reservation. May we clearly hear your ever-present guidance. Please open our eyes to your signs and vision. Allow us to viscerally experience your presence. May your love course through us. Let us not see anything but thee.
