Krishnamurti defines the religious person here. In his view, it seems to me, a person ought to be his own, not swayed by any factor, condition or knowledge. And in that pure state of silence and being, then, is experienced the ‘sacredness’ which is self-evident and may be termed as a ‘religious experience’.
