Time To Wake Up!

I’ve come back for you, to remind you of something, you once knew. That this world is not real. Inception Movie

illusory

Could it be that we’re living in a mass, self-perpetuated hallucination or a virtual reality world? Can it be that, like what some religions suggest, we’re living in an illusory reality, a dream? And if so, how can we wake up from it? How can we be awake to our true nature?

Why Love Must Not Be Special!

Love is not special. a course in miracles

not special

This is contrary to what one might expect. Love can be special, is special, we say. What this quote is saying is that when we love someone more than anyone else we’re making exceptions that are ego-based. The source of love is God and God will not and cannot love one part of his creation more than another. Love cannot make exceptions and therefore ‘is not special’. Our love, if we are to truly become the love that we already are, must be like God’s for her creation.

How To Create Miracles…

Miracles occur naturally as expressions of love. a course in miracles

express love

Expressing love, because we are love, is our prime duty and privilege. God, being love, and everything, means that love is what we must realize we already are. That’s really our only purpose on this planet. Any other pursuit is foolhardy and not worth anything. We deserve to live happy, healthy and joyous lives. That’s only possible if we allow the miraculous love of God to be expressed through and as us.

What’s the Purpose of Work?

Offer all thy works to God… Gita

labor day

Yesterday was Labor Day in the United States. What’s the purpose of any or all work? The purpose of anything that we do in life must be to fulfill ourselves deeply, to be genuinely happy and to experience peace. According to the Bhagavad Gita, the purpose of life, and therefore work, is to realize our true identity within this reality. And one express way to achieve that goal is to consecrate all activity, all work, to the Divine.
