We’re supposed to build plans. But do they really help or do we sell our potential short by making them?

This is about the best advice I’ve come across when it comes to building better relationships with one and all!

Think about it, our full attention on the other person, totally connected to the very heart and soul of that individual. What would be the world-wide result if we all did this even once a day?

3 components

  • Full Presence: We’re listening and present at all levels.
  • What’s Alive: We seek that which is beautiful and magnificent in the other. Or that which is hurting.
  • This moment: It all occurs in the eternal Now.

Imagine the sheer power of this one exercise on all aspects of our lives!

When we’re lost does it not help to ask rather than to assume and act as though we know? Well it’s the same way in life. To seek and find answers to life’s most difficult and mysterious questions; we must ask. If we go about thinking we already know, that would be true, except limited to what we already know! Let’s think in questions! Refine these questions. Journal all questions. We grow when we do that.

There are indeed thoughts that just ‘drop’ into our minds. The valuable ones are of the kind that help us find direction, provide positive motivation, ask us to connect with someone, remind us of an important chore or reveal that idea we were searching for!

Where do you think these thoughts come from? I have my own theory; however the way to increase the prevalence of these thoughts, is to have a still mind through out the day. A still mind is possible when we witness all happenings and catch ourselves from being caught in the usual maelstrom that is our thoughts!
