Knowing that our life is part of an unfolding (and mostly unknown) larger purpose allows us to become more patient.
To achieve his purposes God created Space. For anything to move inside Space requires Time. So Space and Time go hand-in-hand. God in undertaking this massive ‘experiment’ allows for as much time as is necessary to achieve his purposes. This is the reason why given our limited perspective we get frustrated and impatient. We don’t understand the overall picture. One way to become more patient is to ruminate over this idea and focus our attention on the ‘Now’ moment. Now is all that is.
