Most of us are not quite sure if the Law of Attraction works or if it works 100% of the time. The stuff of the Universe comes from thought and we are the wards of the Eternal. Our thoughts have immense power. What we see happening around us, the good and the bad, is directly or indirectly caused collectively by us. Whether we can consciously use the Law of Attraction to our ‘advantage’ really depends on what deep assumptions and beliefs we hold. If we want great relationships but deep down don’t think we’re worthy enough to have them, then such relationships won’t be showing up for us.

We have a great responsibility on our shoulders. If we don’t want more of what the world is experiencing right now then we must choose our thoughts with care. We ought to target our desires to match with those of the Universe. This ensures that our entire world moves forward in way that benefits everyone and not just some of us. This also ensures that we live a more fulfilling life i.e. our ‘Life Purpose’!

Objectively figure out the chances that something will go wrong. As an example the odds of our dying in a 1 hour flight are less than 1 in 1,000,000! Similarly the odds of something else going wrong are not super high. Let’s not dwell on what may go wrong. That’s energy misspent! Let’s deploy the ‘Law of Averages’!

We get lost in the daily conduct of life. And we get used to a sub-standard way of living. Sub-standard because we’re not always enjoying healthy relationships and may not be as happy as we can be. We’re worried about our future and fear Life itself. Let’s stop and observe this situation.

Our mind is the reason we’re happy or not. We are the intelligence behind our intellect. It’s time we asserted control over our own minds! Let’s choose our own thoughts and not allow those that don’t serve us. Let’s be the divine children we are and flourish daily!

Richard died suddenly in 2006; he left quite a legacy in the ‘Don’t Sweat’ series of books he wrote! There’s an interesting story about how the name of his book came about! Richard was still trying to gain permission for one of his current books when a foreign publisher published a previous endorsement by Dr. Dyer. After the fact Richard wrote apologetically to Dr. Dyer trying to explain what happened and received the following reply:

“Richard.

There are two rules for living in harmony.

#1) Don’t sweat the small stuff and

#2) It’s all small stuff.
