Grace is when we’re gentle. Gentle towards self and others. We know that the Universe is filled with goodness and that Life is not a struggle. We expect it all to work out. We trust God.

With grace in our hearts love begins to blossom. In that state, and it’s generally not a constant one, we’re full. In that fullness we forgive easily. Life is effortless even though we know not what comes next.

We are either hard on self or on others. How? We beat ourselves up for not being a certain way, not being thin enough, not beautiful enough or simply not good enough. Whenever we don’t like what others have done or how they behave we’re essentially questioning their lack of perfection!

We all know that perfection isn’t quite possible on this planet. Then why do we behave as though it’s within reach? It’s an internal creative drive but we shouldn’t let it overrule us. We have all of eternity to be perfect, for today let’s just take it easy, just be,  and enjoy that beautiful sky or the fall colors out there!
