Why Have We Forgotten To Breathe?

He who breathes deepest lives most.Elizabeth Barrett Browning

forgotten to breathe

We’ve forgotten to breathe. We will notice that generally we only use one third (1/3) of our lung capacity! What would happen if we started breathing more deeply, throughout the day? We will be able to:

* Become calmer, reduce stress/anger and erase fear

* Stay centered and present

* Experience better health and a clearer mind

Breathing deeper will help us become happier and more fulfilled as human beings. All that for no real extra effort!

affirmations

Today I AM breathing deeper all day long! I feel good!

Why Here and Why Now?

Listen to the Exhortation of the Dawn!
Look to this Day!
For it is Life, the very Life of Life.
In its brief course lie all the
Verities and Realities of your Existence.
The Bliss of Growth,
The Glory of Action,
The Splendor of Beauty;
For Yesterday is but a Dream,
And Tomorrow is only a Vision;
But Today well lived makes
Every Yesterday a Dream of Happiness,
And every Tomorrow a Vision of Hope.
Look well therefore to this Day!
Such is the Salutation of the Dawn!

Kalidasa

here and now

This is it, today and now is all we have! We live our entire life, our existence, our dreams and sorrows; all during today.

We often spend time regretting the past or reliving it. We also spend time worrying about the future. While it’s good to learn from past mistakes and great to plan ahead, lets not miss out on the priceless opportunities that ‘Now’ has to offer. The ever present and eternal Now is where reality intersects with consciousness, which is the real YOU.
