Sometimes all we do is worry without being clear about the problem. When that happens we tend to procrastinate. The more we procrastinate the greater the level of stress due to inaction. What can we do about this?
4th Basic Technique in Analyzing Worry: Write out and answer the following questions:
a. What is the problem?
b. What are the causes of the problem?
c. What are the possible solutions?
d. What is the best possible solution?
Writing about the situation can be very helpful. Even if we don’t have a solution, we move forward when we express the problem via writing. Let’s try it!
